| Nov 2024 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | My touchscreen randomly started glitching, randomly dialing numbers and when I tap it to go back to my gps, the screen freeze. This is a danger for me as the driver, I’m not able to drive the car with confidence because the Apple CarPlay GPS will change screens while I’m actively driving, making me unaware of the gps direction and road. Is there a recall? There are many threads online of 10th gen accord drivers going through the same thing. When I call Honda of south miami dealer, they told me that I can come in and change it under warranty, but then suggested that it’ll be a waste of my time since there will be a recall soon. Customers have gone to the dealership with the same issue repeatedly AFTER Honda replaced theirs. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

I CALLED THE DEALER FOR THEM TO CHECK IT UNDER WARRANTY BECAUSE THIS CAR HAS ONLY 18K MILES AND THEY SAID I HAVE TO PAY TO CHECK IT. HOW IS THIS WHEN THIS IS DANGEROUS. | Jun 2024 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | My car has been phantom braking very hard on its own many times this past week while I was driving on the freeway. There’s no car in front of me and luckily no car was in back of me. Also I noticed it happens a lot when I change lane. I noted these frequent frightful occurrences below. It just brakes when nothing is in front. 6/14/24 @11:30am on the freeway 6/19/24 @9:17am on the freeway 6/22 /24 @8:37am phantom brake very hard on the freeway | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jun 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | I was getting on a freeway, via an on ramp, I was the first vehicle from the light, so there were no vehicles ahead of me. As I was about to merge onto the right lane of the freeway, my vehicle slams to a stop. The BRAKE icon appeared on the control panel, and worried about the vehicle behind me maybe hitting me, I attempt to pull to the right to get off the road. Luckily there were no vehicles on the freeway at the time close to me, and the vehicle that was behind me when I got onto the freeway on ramp, was far enough back. My vehicle only braked for a moment, but it was a hard jerk. It all lasted seconds and I managed to merge onto the freeway and continue on my way. I have not told the dealership yet, where I purchased the vehicle from, but I'm going in for regular service in a week and will address it then. There have been other times the BRAKE icon shows up, but the vehicle had never stopped on it's own before. That was a first. I have, however, noticed NUMEROUS electrical related problems with this vehicle. Well, I'm assuming it's all electrical (braking, speed, AC/heating, backup camera not working due to outside temp). I purchased it new, I'm the sole owner, it has just over 8K miles on it. I didn't bring it up with the dealer because I just chalked it up to numerous other problems I have with this vehicle, and figured I had a lemon, so it's too late to do anything about it. And most of the time if the dealer can't replicate the problem, they feel like it doesn't exist, they won't do anything anyway. I have since disabled any driver assist abilities in the vehicle. I have no issues with anyone inspecting my vehicle. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2024 | ENGINE | Potential for engine misfire | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2024 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | automatic emergency braking system slammed on the brakes with no apparent obstruction in the way. I turned a corner, started to accelerate, brakes slammed on and light on dashboard came on. only took a couple of seconds | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES | Suddenly all errors are alerting on the car after multiple trips to the mechanic we are finding that there is electronic computer errors with the braking system.. this is causing everything to go alert in the entire car. It is believed that the problem will cause brake lock up and safety issues. I would like an investigation into this vehicle. I tried to take it to the dealer, who told me they were far too busy to look at it but if I leave it there I could rent a vehicle from them until they get around to it. I went to another mechanic and again this is what we discovered. The car has computer glitches. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | Several times while driving the automatic breaking function activated while there was no vehicle or obstacles in front of me. This caused the vehicle behind me to swerve in order to avoid hitting me. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Re: Distracted Driving Awareness Month To whom it may concern: A little over a year ago, my 17-year-old car “gave up the ghost” and I bought a new Honda Accord. With this new car came a host of new-to-me technology. One item, that screen in the middle of my dashboard, is a contributing factor to the Distracted Driving Problem. Push buttons on radios were a great safety feature when first introduced. They allow drivers to change stations while driving without fiddling with the dial. Now, however, a driver takes their eyes off the road to look at the screen and select a channel or band or podcast, etc. Driving my old car, when I needed directions, I’d ask Siri to give me directions to a particular place, and she would talk me through it, giving me plenty of notice regarding when to turn, which exit to use, etc. All the while I kept my eyes on the road. Regretfully now, Siri also shows me a map on the screen indicating when to turn. Yes, she still talks to me, but there is this great temptation to take my eyes off the road and see where I’m going. During this Distracted Driving Awareness Month, I encourage you to reflect on the unnecessary road hazard that exist in the middle of the dashboard and eliminate those screens in future cars. We drove very well without them for over a century. And we don’t need another reason to take our eyes off the road. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES | The whole switch for the e brake and park hold fell into the console. I was driving normally one day and heard a noise, when I looked down I noticed it had fallen. I have only used this switch about 2 times since purchasing this car brand new in 2022. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | Brake start by itself and cause despeed | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | I had just merged onto a road and suddenly without warning the automatic emergency brakes applied. There were no vehicles in front of me or other objects. My safety and others were at risk because the vehicle suddenly braked and my control of the vehicle was considerably diminished. The road conditions were icy and it was snowing. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | On multiple occasions, my 2022 Honda Accord has used the automatic braking system against my better judgement and almost caused traffic collisions. - It has braked when I was simply turning around in a parking lot, nearly causing a vehicle to hit me. - It brakes when I'm trying to park my vehicle in a narrow garage space, despite not being in danger of hitting anything. - It has braked at traffic intersections when it sees cars turning in front of me, almost causing vehicles behind to collide with the back of my car. I filed a complaint with Honda, but they were unhelpful. Since it's impossible to permamently disable this safety feature, their only resolution was for me to remember to temporarily disable it every time I use the vehicle. It appears that this technology is flawed and prone to malfunctioning and Honda implemented it in their vehicles to track the data by using involuntary test subjects. In my view, this warrants a federal investigation and lawsuit. Thank you. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2024 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Loud noise coming from outside, can’t use Bluetooth the person on the other line can’t hear due to the noise so loud.looks like doesn’t have enough insulation that you can hear all the noise in rough highway specially in I95 | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2024 | SUSPENSION,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | When turn to exit highway the car stop unexpectedly. It happened more than 5 times. I talked with the dealer but they not pay attention to my claim The dealer check the suspension twice and denied there was a problem. But Tire kingdom and an independent service verified a problem in the suspension system | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,SERVICE BRAKES | 2022 Honda Accord is experiencing a “traction control” light turning on randomly. Following that, multiple indicators turn on which disable the functions of economy, cruise control, and other features. When the traction warning is flashing, the vehicle makes an electrical sound. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | The vehicle will sometimes brake even though no obstacle is present. This has occurred at highway speeds. The sudden brake event is jarring, and could cause me to be involved in a collision. The vehicle is relatively new, and covered by a factory warranty. I described the problem to the dealer's service department. The service department representative said he would not be able to repair the problem unless he could replicate it. The problem is intermittent, and is unlikely to be replicated. This means that the problem will likely remain unrepaired and dangerous. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
