Jul 2023 POWER TRAIN,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM I was waiting at a stop light when the light turned green. I accelerated and the truck sputtered and cut off. The truck started to sound off with alarms and give a warning on the dash for me to put it in S or N. When doing such and attempting to restart the vechicle it continued to cut off and sound off with alerts. This happened a out 9 times in a row. I was sitting on a busy 6 lane roadway where vechicles go well above the speed limit. I have 4 children under the age of 7 including a 6mo old who were very scared. This is DANGEROUS and I am reading on Hyundai owners forums that this issue is not uncommon at all and Hyundai is well aware of the issue. We could have easily been seriously hurt or killed! I just purchased the vechicle and have only 2,3xx miles on it. It's a 2023 Hyundai Palasade Calligraphy AWD white exterior. I've also noticed that the safety sensors seem to do more hard than good. I've had it happen about 5 times now that a car was approaching behind my vechicle and my vechicle would violently come to a abrupt stop, jerk the entire vechicle (scaring everyone in the truck) and it will freeze up not letting me drive. This does a lot more harm than good and again is dangerous. There were times that I needed to drive to get away from the situation and my truck froze up because it thought a vechicle was to close.

Jun 2023 UNKNOWN OR OTHER,VISIBILITY Rear door windows are hazy, foggy and are a safety issue in both daytime and evening due to poor visibility. Hyundai issued a TSB #23-BD-001H. Jun 2023 STEERING,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,SERVICE BRAKES I was just turning right from a stoplight into a store parking lot when I lost power steering & my brakes were ‘difficult’ to push down. I barely got it out of the way of traffic and I turned the car off, got out, opened and closed my door, and got back in and it started back up and drove to the parking spot like nothing had happened. Sensors reset to 0. It happened again 2 stops away while in a drive through. I did the same thing and it started back up ok. It would do this every 2-3 days for 2 weeks. Finally it did it one day, 5-6 times. The day I called the dealership & said that I was afraid my 2023 Palisade was going to literally get me killed on the highway was when the manager was able to get me a loaner vehicle to drive. It’s been in the dealership for over a week. I saw the recall about the loss of power brake assist online and thought this may pertain to my Palisade.

Jun 2023 VISIBILITY/WIPER,VISIBILITY Both LR and RR door windows are Smoky, Foggy, Hazy at all times but when exposed to direct sunlight are a safety hazard and need to be replaced. Hyundai provided me with a TSB #23-BD-001H. It states the FMVSS are meet. I strongly disagree with this TSB. The TSB also stated on CERTAIN 2023 MY Palisades. My question is if it meets or exceeds FMVSS then why isn’t that why on all 2023 Palisades not just CERTAIN ones??

Jun 2023 VISIBILITY/WIPER,VISIBILITY The rear passenger windows have a cloudy / hazy look to them, making it difficult to see out at certain times. This is a known defect on the 2023 Palisade models. This defect is between the glass panels. It is not a film tint.

Jun 2023 VISIBILITY/WIPER Rear door windows, not clear, gray, especially in sunlight and causes visibility and safety issues, Hyundai at this point is not planning on doing anything to resolve this issue. May 2023 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,BACK OVER PREVENTION,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE My sensors have been having issues since the day I bought my car march 5 2023. It would be intermittent, and became constant. The error reads, "check parking distance warning system" as well as "ultrasonic sensor error or blockage" and my sensors are clean. Nothing blocking them whatsoever. It's constant. I went to my dealership for them to say someone may have hit my car while I was I. The grocery store. Shouldn't there be some serious damage? I don't lcoe the lying. And I don't love how they tried to get me to pay because me sensors wouldn't even calibrate. They said anything could knock them out of wack because hyundai sensors are super sensitive. Well then they need tk be less sensitive. My car is garage kept, barley leaves the house currently has only 2000 miles after having the car for 2 months now.

Mar 2023 VISIBILITY/WIPER We were driving in a snow storm with kids trying to get home and all of a sudden our wipers stopped working and the snow completely covered our windshield. We couldn't see anything and we were in the middle of the road blinded by the snow, not knowing where to go, or stop and how to go get home. My husband had to stop in the middle of the road risking our lives just to clean the windshield. It was covered in snow again almost instantaneously and became impossible for us to get home. This is extremely unsafe that the wipers stop working whenever it snows. This was the worst incident that happened to us but everytime it snows the wipers stop working and we have to clean the bank behind the wipers to get them to work again. There must be a recall for 2023 Palisades as well because they haven't fixed the problem from the recall of the 2019 models and Hyundai must be penalized for ignoring such essential and important safety feature despite knowing it for years...

Mar 2023 VISIBILITY/WIPER While driving in snowy conditions my windshield wipers failed to work. They were working and then about 15 minutes in to my drive they stopped working. I had to pull off the side of the interstate with semi trucks flying by to pick the compacted snow out. It did not work and I slowly and very carefully had to continue until I was able to make it home and they were able to thaw.

Mar 2023 POWER TRAIN While driving in "snow mode" and starting from stop and going into turn, vehicle accelerated for few feet and then it stalled, basically the engine was ON but lost torque to wheels. Vehicle would start moving as soon as I change the drive mode to any other than snow mode. This happened few times and all times vehicle was in snow mode. Once even when the payment was dry but driving in snow mode. It has never happened in other drive modes. Luckily there was no incoming or side traffic or I could have ran into by other vehicles. A BIG SAFETY ISSUE. I googled and many others with 2023 have similar experience. Hyundai need to fix it.
